Subject	Vacuum line uncapped near firewall, passenger side

Message	see picture, right hand, top, red circled. I found an uncapped vacuum hard pipe. I tried to use the vacuum diagram but since mine is a 95 TT, the diagram is a little different than what's actually in my car. Not to mention, if I am correct, there's no diagram at the front of the car, to the boost sensor, which is on the driver side. The 95 is just so different. So the question is , is this hard pipe originally going to the EGR valve?( I deleted it) should I cap this tube? https://imgur.com/gallery/AUBRKq8
